Wow, where to start! WAH Marketing That Doesn't Suck could have easily been a real book. I mean it could be a book you'd stand in line to buy in a real store even! Its big, juicy, and has lots of amazing info in it. And I'm not just talking about the tip I submitted! (its on page 12...)
Oh, and did I mention its free? So don't think I'm in this for any kind of commission or affiliate kick backs here, I'm just a big raving fan of Tina!
I'll keep this review kinda short, well, I'll try right? Especially since I want you to run, slide, slither, or just click the link and go get your own copy... Yes, that's right, the link above, or click the picture of the ebook, that works too. In fact, just go ahead and click that now. nothing I say here should slow you down at all!
But if you are the kind of person who needs a few more reasons why you should go check something out... I mean, lets face it, there are so many people pitching things, we do get a bit jaded right?
So, while studying the document, and I do mean studying, I was actually taking notes!
Gems like-
How to Woo your market! We're talking more "dating" than just "selling" here. You want to actually be attractive for your clients. Lets sparkle!
Finding a language that resonates with your market. The more specific you are niched with your market, the more you can resonate with them. Being too generalized makes anything you say sound fuzzy. You wanna be Sharp!
Hmmm - You Need Business Cards! Yes YOU! Get off your Blog and go get some cards made now!
Oh, and you should have a nice spiffy logo. Not clip art. Go find a starving artist, buy him a cheeseburger, and when his tummy is full and happy, ask him to draw you a nice logo.
And where should you find this cheeseburger eating artist, you ask? Craig's List! That's right, go look on Craig's List and you will find more starving artists than you can wave a cheeseburger at! And odds are, some of them are even really awesome at what they do! So stop wasting your time trying to BE an artist, unless you really are an artist, and go FEED an artist :)
Oh, and now that you have your spiffy business cards, with the inspired logo, all driving raving fans to your blog and website... what will these raving fans be reading when they get there?? Articles! People want to Know stuff, they don't have time to find stuff. That's your job. You know stuff, you write articles. Then people will like you enough to buy your stuff. Its really all about stuff, and cheeseburgers.
Or, even better yet, hire someone to write articles for you! See, you could really rule the world if you had lots of cheeseburgers...
